JD in Japan!

JD is now in Japan and sent us some pictures in his last e-mail. This is mainly for Dougie because he is unable to open pictures via e-mail! Way to keep your apartment clean JD! And we love you in the streets of Japan making everyone smile!

Tori has been working at her new job with Thomasarts all summer but she came home to visit us...or did she come home to pick up her new car...either way we are happy she is home for a week. Here are some pictures of her new Honda CRV. She is a very proud new car owner. LOTS OF ROOM FOR GROCERIES

Where are the Rasmussen Boys??

So I am finally posting again and I thought I would add an update on where our boys are. Doug has been in Armenia for ONE YEAR as of July 26th, 2007. Wow do we miss him! He is loving his time and experiences there and is an awesome missionary. JD entered into the MTC on July 5th, 2007! ONE MONTH so far! He is learning the Japanese language getting ready to serve the people of Kobe Japan. He is studying hard and is scheduled to leave for Kobe on Sept. 17, 2007. We live for their weekly e-mails. Doug's arrive on Mondays and JD's on Tuesdays! Let me know if you are interested in getting weekly forwards. They both write awesome letters!

5 days is too long ...

without our Mom/Grandma around! Mom has been heading up Girls Camp for our Stake this week and we have missed not being able to hang out with her. We are SO excited for her to come home tomorrow morning! We hope that everything went well at camp and that you are feeling better :")

Post Waffle Party...

Since no one has posted anything yet, I thought I'd be the first one since Dougie may be looking at our brand new family blog tomorrow! Nothing too exciting...but this is a picture of Lindsay, Virginia, and I after the Belgian Waffle Party we had in honor of Virge going to Belgium in the fall :-). We had a ton of fun, ate a lot of waffles, and fed the ducks at the duck pond all of our leftovers after the party!
